Primer Question

My 84 is a long bed, and I'm trying to get most of the body work done as quick as I can. I'm using a high build primer right now but I was going to shoot it in epoxy primer on the final coat. It won't be painted until spring. Never used epoxy so would a 1/2 gallon cover the whole truck? I see Eastwood has a qt that mixes 1 to 1, so that would end up a 1/2 gallon to spray it. Inside the bed will have sprayable bed liner, so no primer needed there. Just don't want to buy a gallon and have alot left over.
