Starter motor
Good morning!
Now that I soon got my 350 transmission installed, I need to get a new starter. I need tips on which one I should bye. My motor is a 305 smallblock. |

Re: Starter motor
you will have to check your engine block it has either a staggerd or strait bolt pattern and also the tooth count on the flywheel but you can get one of those mini high torque starters that will fit either

Re: Starter motor
Was your original starter bolted to the engine block or the bell housing? and what diameter flex plate do you have

Will 3hp be enough, do you think? The truck is supposed to be driven only in the summer as a cruiser. |

Re: Starter motor
168 tooth or the 14'' plate will take the same starter as the 350 with the diagonal mounting bolts
