more wiper blues
My friend is restoring a 59 fleetside short bed.He has invested a lot of money, including buying a new cab from DynaCorn. The problem he has is the cab he bought is for a 55-59.The wiper motor he has is a 59,it does not fit.Cab has mounts for a 55-57.is there such a thing as a 2 speed electric wiper motor that will bolt into a 55-57?I will post some pictures of his progress it's nice so far

Re: more wiper blues
Not sure if this will work for him. I have no experience with these but am thinking about using this on my '47. Maybe someone else has used these and will chime in?

Re: more wiper blues
No help on the wiper. Does the cab come with both sets of hinge mounts, 58-59 are different that 55-57?

Re: more wiper blues
I may be wrong but I don't think Dynacorn sells a 55-59 cab, its 55-57 and the difference is as you found out the wiper motor fitment plus a few other minor changes. Aftermarket wiper is the fix, either the one linked above or raingear wipers.

Re: more wiper blues
Take your pick, there are a couple of options seconds http://www.classicparts.com/Motors/products/129/
Or a new price to compare with the price of the one in the classifieds.

Re: more wiper blues
Personally, I love the vacuum wipers. I drive a car every single day with them, they get the job done and with some "character."

Re: more wiper blues
I got curious and checked the DynaCorn site. They list the cab as 55-57, which will work with 58-59 sheet metal, but hood hinges will need to be reworked. All other fender and inner fender mounts are the same.
