Can't get the Horn to work right. HELP

I have a 63'. Got a Horn hardware repair kit for my delux steering wheel. When I plug in the pink horn ground wire from the steering bearing to the dark green wire on the steering column harness, the horn constant Honks, what the heck? Can't figure out why, please hlep

The horn button or plunger is grounded somewhere or may not be insulated properly. Which would be the same thing.

There is a flat metal spring under the horn ring. You need to remove the 3 screws & make sure the spring is centered under the plastic toobs.

I have also found that you don't want to over tighten the screws.
