Here I go Again...
I'm gonna bring this up again cause I came across a truck with the same Lighter as the one in my truck...
Is it a Canadian thing?? GM reusing old parts?? Cause in my travels I've already come across a 72 GMC Cab with a roof mounted Rear View Mirror... Well here's the pics... My Truck...

krazy, if the paint on your friend's truck is original, look in the door jamb of the driver's door and see if the sticker is still there that shows the date or production. I'm willing to bet it is an october truck.
As for the cigar lighter, that looks like a dealer add on, or a parts store deal to me. |

'72 was also a GM strike year. I have heard of a few '72 trucks that had odd parts. I guess management isn't good at reading their own directions!

72 had a strike? I heard 70 did, but never 72.
Heck, they probably walked out twice. |
