Body Panel Replacement
Hey all! I am working on a '77 3/4 Long bed single cab pickup. Starting to do the body work in a few months. Here is what I am hoping to get some of your expert opinions on. I am looking to replace the floor boards and door jams due to rust and also both sides inner and outer fenders and possibly a hood. Does anyone have a recommendation on where to order the item from online? I am not making a show truck, just a cruiser that I can leave to my kids someday and enjoy in the mean time. I know that I can find these at junk yards and such, but I want new metal. I have seen the few big suppliers online, just hoping to get some personal experience on them or suggestions of others.
Thanks in advance! |

Re: Body Panel Replacement
I have ordered all the parts you need from a few different places, and it always ends up being the same stuff, with a different sticker on it. Now I just order it from the place I can find the cheapest shipping. I also get parts from my local paint and body shop supply store, the parts might be a few bucks more, but there is no shipping. I order alot of that stuff from summit racing.

Re: Body Panel Replacement
I bought must of my stuff from my local auto body supply place to avoid the shipping costs. Shipping these oversize items can get pricey.
