Dion, the only person I know who has one is cableguy0. He likes it and his truck is quick. For the money it appears to be a good buy. I would compare the components to other brands and talk to some speed shops for opinions.

I hated mine didn't even last through cam break in... fried the coil cap and the module... the only thing left is the billet housing and pick up... the proform pushrods and roller tip rockers didn't make it either (shoved pushrod through the rocker)... I'll never buy proform anything again I learned that you get what you pay for.

If you have got the money, go with a MSD Pro-Billet HEI. It costs like $329, but i have heard nothing but great things about them.

I would go with the MSD billet distributor, I have been using them since 1985. I have had a 8361 MSD billet distributor on my truck since 1996 and it makes a big difference. The 8361 needs the 6A unit. They also sell the MSD 8360 which does not need the 6A unit. My truck starts with a half turn of the engine usually.

I hated the Proform...a piece of JUNK..the bushing wore out in no time..timing was erratic from the get go..the Msd8360 is a great dizzy..small cap..not to expensive..around 200 bucks..then you will need a coil too

So Dion does this mean that you are going to keep the truck? It's back in your good graces. What did Jack? at JBA recommend? He should be an excellent source if you've seen any of the stuff they put together out there. Some real HIGH-Performance equipment. You liked their service. I would value their judgement (advice). Just a thought. Glad it worked out for you. Was pretty sure you would enjoy this experience. Smitty
