Suburban seats into a Crew cab
I have a 1978 crew cab in desperate need of seat replacement. Will newer suburban seats "bolt in" (i.e. 81-87ish). Bucket seat with console "bolt in" as well? There are more suburbans parted out around here so the seat availability is far greater than the crew cab. Thanks for your help.

Re: Suburban seats into a Crew cab
I converted my old crew from bench to "suburban" buckets" in the front. I had to get the factory floor tabs (factory welded in) for the buckets. These are the inner front mounts for the seats. The outside tracks use the existing holes. The inner rear I drilled a hole and fastened accordingly. I'm not too sure about the rear seat. I do know a few guys in the past have talked about putting the rear suburban seat in a crew cab but i'm sure it would involve some fabrication.
