Need to find a good chrome plating shop
Does any one have a name of a good chrome plating shop you have used in the past? I'm in Michigan, so I'd like to try to stick with a shop in the Midwest if possible.
Thanks for the help, Eric |

Re: Need to find a good chrome plating shop
Before repo I sent a lot of bumpers to a company called Northstar in Minnesota. I believe they were bought out by Keystone . They still do excellent work but very , very , expensive . However in all the years I had them done I never sent one back and the chrome was always deep , thick, sandblasted backs , holes repaired , etc . You get what you pay for . Unfortunately many people think you can have a bumper re chromed at the price of a China repo. The epa laws came down hard on chrome shops . Surprised any are still in business. In China they take baths in it.. Someone said there is a good one in Dubuque Iowa . I have not used them so no feedback . The old rule still applies . You get what you pay for.
