Steering Wheel and Column question
I think my '67 GMC Steering Wheel is on a '72 Steering Column Non-Tilt and it's ok. I do want to replace Shift Indicator, Dial, Pointer, Lever....
So I guess I will just order these parts for a "72" Column and I"ll be good to go?! And it has this written on it. I'm guessing it's a 72 part number?

Those markings look like the same type of orangish pen my local U-Pull place uses, I don't think those are factory.
Not sure on the rest of your question, I think the non-tilts are the same from 67-72, or at least the replacement parts are likely the same P/N.

From my experience with junkyards around me the "3780TC" is a stock number or location number. And the "72" is the year of vehicle it came out of. Definitely not from the factory marking, factory used a chalk style marking. Almost all junk yards use that grease pin to mark stuff.

I have a question I found a tilt column in in a 88 motor
Home it looks like a 72 but it has cruise just seeing it WWould work are not |

I'm putting in new signal switch, upper column bearing and column seal retainer and neutral safety..hopefully that will square me away so far it steers fine. Already replaced rag joint and steering gearbox. There's not many moving parts to the column itself really and I think I'll be good to go. Thanks for info everyone.
