Suspension Question
What are the advantages to installing tubular A arms on these trucks. Would there be any advantage to installing only upper tubular control arms, as I would like to keep my stock lowers with the factory type sway bar.
Thanks in advance for your input. |

Re: Suspension Question
Not sure if uppers only is better but I'm going to find out. I got a set of uppers because they are advertised to add 5 degrees of caster. With the new cross shafts, bushings and ball joints included, the price was reasonable. Ball joints appear to be junk but we'll see. Hoping to get the truck back on the road in a month or two. Won't know if it was a good choice until then.

Re: Suspension Question
As mentioned above, most of your quality control arms will have improved geometry for both handling and overall performance. They give you the adjustability needed to take away the slush box handling associated with these trucks.
We improve the ball joint angle (using ProForged Ball Joints), create extra caster potential by adjusting the for and aft position of the ball joint prevent ball joint bind. We also optimize the length of the control arm for proper camber adjustment so you don't need a ton of shims at a lowered ride height and the perimeter is contoured so you get maximum clearance and turning radius. All of our control arms are constructed with .219" wall DOM tubing that is CNC bent and jig welded to make sure we construct the exact same part, the exact same way every single time. They come black powder coated and allow you to use your factory sway bar if you get shorter end lengths. There are tons of aftermarket control arms out there, make sure you are buying components that actually make an improvement on your truck, not just look the part. Obviously I may be a little partial to our products, but I believe in them and know the guys that put these pieces together. They are all hot rodders as well and want to make sure we provide the best parts we can.
