C10 Truck Trailing Arm Anti Squat Bracket Kit
Who else makes these beside POL and Hotchkiss? I'm trying to correct an pinion angle problem that is causing me a vibration and am checking out my options. TIA

Re: C10 Truck Trailing Arm Anti Squat Bracket Kit
I've seen a lot of people flip the bracket. I think Super73 made his own. Any reason you don't shim the rear or weld on new perches?

Re: C10 Truck Trailing Arm Anti Squat Bracket Kit
I'm using PB dropped arms. The truck is built and running and I was trying to keep it simple. I may just flip the bracket.

Re: C10 Truck Trailing Arm Anti Squat Bracket Kit
I've thought for a long time if i needed to do this i would weld additional metal plates predrilled and weld them to the top, because i hate to drill out rivets. My grandpa worked on the railroad and fixed steam locomotives and said" nothing beats a rivet, fills misaligned holes, can't unthread, vibration resistant etc. if it holds a skyscraper together it's good enough for me".

I use shims to set the angle. Quick and easy. These are from speedway but others also carry them. http://www.speedwaymotors.com/Rear-A...up,294450.html

Re: C10 Truck Trailing Arm Anti Squat Bracket Kit
Does anyone see a problem with going with a 6 degree shim?

Re: C10 Truck Trailing Arm Anti Squat Bracket Kit
FWIW, I'm running a 6* shim on my '69 with Hotchkis 6" rear drop springs & 1.5" block. No issues so far.
