Are 81+ Bedsides a direct bolt on for a 76 SWB fleet?

Are 81+ Bedsides a direct bolt on for a 76 SWB fleet? I'm wanting to convert our truck to dual tank. I found a pair of bedsides, but they are for an 81+. Will these line up with the existing holes in the 76 floor and head board?

Thank you,

Wes

I think they will bolt up, but the humps in the floor to clear the fuel necks might not match up. I'm not for certain, but I think there is 2 diffrent size humps?

I think the humps are the same. Most places list one replacement floor for 73-87. The 81 will have fuel filler doors and the filler necks will be different.

Yes, but the gas neck hump is different.

Have 84 1/4's on a 73 floor.

twinturbo10, Kqql it, thanks for the information and the pics. Doesn't look too bad as long as you do the mod before painting the bed.

BTW, did the later fuel neck work with the earlier tank?

I don't know actually.
Put a fill neck in the floor from the early 1/4 panel.
Only real issue I could see is the newer fill necks are 1-5/8 and the older tank fills are 1-1/2.

kqql it, thanks for the pics, they help visualize it.Changing tanks isn't a big deal, but was hoping to be able to put it off until I do a LS swap.
