Wheel studs

Looking for a longer wheel stud for our 87 V20 3/4 ton Suburban. The stock ones are all breaking on us. And since we are changing them need a longer one so we can use some aluminum wheels we have. We tried putting some in from a FF 14bolt. But couldn't get them to seat all the way. But haven't tried pressing them. The specs say they are actually a touch smaller at the knurl but the knurl is longer. Anyone get these to work? Or have a source for longer ones.
Thanks.
