Power window kit?
I have seen threads about other kits, I will be very specific; Has anyone done power window conversion using this power window kit in a 64-66? ANy reason not to use it (E.G. like need drill to death or results in wobbly glass)?
http://www.speedwaymotors.com/Speedw...it,112892.html Anyone used any of these retro handle switches? http://www.speedwaymotors.com/Speedw...tch,52770.html |

Re: Power window kit?
I have used switches like those in previous builds. I liked them and will use them again on this build. The power windows no. I will use these - http://www.nu-relics.com/chevrolet-truck-s/253.htm

Re: Power window kit?
I used one similar, only real issue I had was the windows were very slow to go up and sometimes would hang and I would have to manually pull them up. I also didn't like drilling a bunch of holes in my doors, had to remove the windows stops too. I'll suffer and just roll them manually. Good luck!
This is the one I used, was a long time ago but wasn't a fan. Had to get longer glass cut also. If I would have had the $ I would have went with the Nu-Relics offering. http://www.hotrodwires.com/power-window-hardware.html

FWIW, mine have been in for near 5-6 months now and not once have I regretted saving a little longer to get them. Probably going to send the regulators for the Wife's Bug to them.... A '60 Bug with power glass ![]()

Re: Power window kit?
I used that kind of switch with a Nu-Relics power window motor/regulator set.

Re: Power window kit?
I wired the remote master switch that Nu-Relics offers with the handle switch, so I can roll down the passenger window from the driver seat. I mounted it just to the side of the steering column.
