Hood hinges
Does anyone have a line on Good hood hinges (this year). Ive read older threads and in some cases the wibsites are gone. Don't want billit, just Good steel hinges (if I can find them--in a hurry)

Re: Hood hinges
Classic only had the right side OEM.
I would consider rebuilding them but I don't have the time to wait.

Re: Hood hinges
I got a pair of OEM hood hinges from the local Chevy dealer a few years ago. They were new made old-style parts, not vintage NOS. Worth a call to see if they still have any.

Re: Hood hinges
OK, tell you what. I grew up in Adrian Missouri, and this part is important...I AM NOT SELLING ANYTHING... However, if you will pay packaging and freight, I've got a set I will GIVE you. I'm using a set of Eddie Motorsport on my new build, and I've got the set that came with the truck. Not great, but not bad. Would hold you until you can get yours rebuilt or buy new ones... Send me a PM with your address, and we'll work out how to get them to you... If you want them.

Re: Hood hinges
Man, that is a hell of an offer. I thank you for your generosity very much.
I just got off the phone a few minutes ago ordering a new set. I thought Id surf here a couple minutes while I was waiting on my wife to get ready. I'm not far from Kansas city so instead of shipping I decided to pick up the parts. Only loose one day this way. But again thank you very much for your offer---it is appreciated.
