Quick c20 disc brake conversion question

i looked on here but cant quite find my answer

my 1970 gmc c25 has drums all the way around
i have some front (disc) spindles that i plan to use.

looking on line they sell brake power brake booster kits
and master cylinder kits (everything to do the job)

my question, my truck has power brakes already from the factory correct?
aside from a disc Brake Proportioning Valve.

doesn't the truck have everything on it already to convert?
or am i missing somthing. (all the new brake stuff isnt needed is it?)

i plan on doing a full hydroboost (4 wheel disc) system in the future with the wilwood master.

but heck this could be a cheaper option for the time being.

Using just the spindles you need to make sure that there are ball joints available. They need to be correct diameter and taper. You will also need to use the correct outer ball joint.

I forgot the website, but there is a guy that makes disc brake conversions for the Eaton rear axle. From what I remember they were very reasonably priced.

thanks for that info, my truck has a dana60 (super easy to convert) and many kits
