This ones a keeper!

I finally found myself my dream truck! Well sort of.. it'll soon be a shorty and laying rocker on some 22" smoothies. Full of options and it's a driver!

That's a 557 medium over dark olive truck. Not too many of those around. There's a handful of them on the board besides you and me. Nice looking truck! What's the spid look like??

Nice find. I've got a 557 K20, love the paint combo. Yours would look great restored too! Here's some motivation, not that you need any! None of these are mine, just beautiful 557 examples (I believe the stepper is a Boynton's - I saw it at TX Goodguys in 2016):

Thanks man! I've wondered if it was a rare color option, and you'll have to excuse my lack of experience but what's spid?

Those are all awesome! My plans are to try and keep it as original as possible, 350/350 drivetrain freashend up and fix some cancer and paint back to factory colors. Just some major suspension upgrades and wheel change.

Ah, I had a slight suspicion that's what was being referred to, I'll have to snap a pic tomorrow!

Nice truck. Interesting- they misspelled "chrome" on the SPID. That's a first for me, though mine says TURBO HYDRA-MATUC.

That would be due in part to good old human ingenuity!

Have not really looked at mine to see any of that, or seen on that wuz misspelled before!

Thanks, I'm excited to tear into it for sure! I have some parts I'm wanting to get bought up and finish another project I have before I get started on it, but this one is defiantly a personal favorite so far for sure! 🤘🏼🤘🏼

Put the Coys on to see how they’d look stock.. I think a little shortening and a massive drop will help them feel right at home 👌🏼

I think it looks pretty good already. The snip and drop will give it a bit more for sure though! Lookin' good.
