Lower steering column question
Has anyone used or repaired with this kit? I'm in need of some of the parts not sure what.
Thanks 7D2N

I'm assuming you're asking about the outlined box with 3 parts in it. Looks like you're missing the #21 bearing and the #20 cylinder piece the bearing sits in. Might find the parts cheaper on classicparts |

Re: Lower steering column question
the 2 "rings" on the right side of your second picture are what's left of your bearing. What you need is part #21, the bearing.
The adjustment sleeve isn't in your picture, it's likely still in the upper portion of your shaft. Unless it's missing, I can't see why it would need to be replaced. |

Re: Lower steering column question
Checked a couple of parts stores for the steering knuckle seal boot. (not sure what you call it.) and no luck. Has anyone replaced this and if so can you let me know the supplier.
Thanks 7D2N

Re: Lower steering column question
I replaced mine a few months ago. Part number was GM# 7802919. Got it off eBay, it was listed for 68-77 gm cars but appears to be the same.
