283 Power pack heads
Hey guys, new to this year group,but is there a market for 283 power pack heads? the reason i ask is i haze 3 sets of bare heads.I will haft to look up casting dates to know what I have.Thanks for any info.

Not a huge market as they don't have hard seats in them but they work great on a 307 with a decent cam. My son and I put together a budget 307 with power pack heads and a take out mid 80's Z28 Cam that was a Portland swap meet find complete with lifters that had the lobe number marked on them with a sharpie. In a 70 Chev pickup that engine shocked a number of guys in crosswalk to crosswalk blasts.

It does the heavy work and hauls the projects around. |
