1990 3/4 Ton 4x4 Suburban Question

I just bought a 1990 GMC Suburban 3/4 ton 4x4 with the regular tailgate .Is it possible to put barn doors on it and if so what years are compatible ?

I looked into this project one time, you would need a complete rear section off a donor suburban. The rear body panel and left and right side door hinge pillars are different. Also I belive at the top of the opening is also different. Can be done, just allot of work. I would stay with 1981-1991 for your year range.

I have a 91 barndoor burb that I'm parting out...I would also leave it as is ...but if you want I can get you pics of it to compare. .in case you change your mind

Show mw pics of what you have left , I need a headliner and all the inside trim parts . Also need an ashtray and probably other things .

headliners still in it although the fabric is held up with thumbtacks..ash tray is still there...interior is ruff.....I bought it for the axles and am keeping the fenders, hood and front doors for spares...and maybe the frame...it also has the early 4l80 and I believe a 241 transfer case and the digital speedo...has seats but they're ruff...has barn doors out back but they're ruff as well...middle doors seem ok
