Auto Trans mount differences
Need some input and opinions.
I have a 1972 1 ton with a 4 speed and am wanting to convert to TH400 automatic that came out of a 1969 C10. My question is Are the 1/2 and 3/4 auto transmission cross members the same and interchangeable to use on a 1 ton frame. Heehawracing has some spacer brackets on parts board that came off a 1 ton Longhorn and I am wanting to know if this will work with my 1/2 ton cross member? Thanks for your input Ron

Not trying to steal this thread, but nice to know of different cross members effect driveline angles.

I think this is what you need.... http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=750325 If HeeHaw's spacer brackets look like those they should work also. LockDoc
