i have a built holley 650 that mydad got for me and i need to know where to hook the vacuums up cuase i dont know and he dont know so he just spliced em all into one and he plugged one up wich im pretty sure controls the back barrels casue they dont open any help or diagrams would begreat thanks

Is the carb a spread bore or a double pumper? I have a Holley carb book and it may be helpful in solving your question. It's better to know what you have so I can give you the most correct answer.

Is it a double pumper (rear barrels open after the fronts are half open by a link on the throttle arm). Or a vacumn secondary, there is a round chamber on the opposite side to the throttle arm?

On a v/s the rears are controlled by an internal passage not the hoses. You will not see them open by revving the engine. It has to be under load, say moving at about 50mph.

Hook the vacumn advance to the port over the idle mixture screw. Everything else put where it hooks up best. Don't forget that big one on the rear of the base.

its v/s and the big one on the back is the only plugged one (theone on the passenger side right??) any reply to that would be great adn ill post again if i cnt find teh idle mixture screw thanks

The large vacumn port on the back of the carburator is usually plumbed to a PCV valve in the passenger side valve cover using 3/8" rubber hose.
