CPP 12 bolt disc conversion issues
Hi everyone, I am using the disc brake conversion for the 12 bolt rear on my truck. I am having trouble getting the outer pad to clear the rotors. Is there something simple I am missing? I called CPP and they said this rarely happens but they have seen it and are sending me multiple smaller shims to replace the single shim that was meant for the swap. The axles are bottomed out on the "center pin" but is it possible I got something out of sync causing the axles to sit out? I dont see how that could be but then again I dont have much experience with rears. I need under a 1/8th of a inch more clearance for them to slide over. I figured it would be worth a post while I wait for the smaller shims

Re: CPP 12 bolt disc conversion issues
When I did mine I had several issues with their brakes. This was one of them. Air in the caliper to small of fittings for the truck brake lines no customer support at all except it was something I did wrong. Not..
Good luck with it and hope you get the e brake working good. Mine still isn't perfect but it does hold the truck on level ground.
