Help me plug this hole.

Can't find anybody that sells a grommet for this hole. It is located just below the gas pedal. Backing plate grommet is too small. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Re: Help me plug this hole.

It's a 67. Parking brake cable Is under the steering column. I have no idea what went there. It is under the Excelerator pedal. Too far over to be the emergency brake cable. RTV I guess.

Re: Help me plug this hole.

The hole size is just a little bigger then the plug for the backing plate adjuster hole. Not a biggie. But it does seem to be a factory hole. I will plug it with something. Thank you for all the replies.

Re: Help me plug this hole.

What are the dimensions of this hole?

Assuming it is big enough, you could fashion two steel plates to bolt into each other and tighten up, sandwiching the firewall between. Use pan-headed machine screws (actually one would do) and put the head of the machine screw on the inside (of the cab). You could use some sealer around the edge or even some foam gasket material from Lowe's to keep out moisture.
