How to identify year of Australian GM truck

Hi, a friend of mine in Australia has purchased a less than perfect check truck with a tipper on it. It’s engine number is TR51511 and it has a high low transmission. However, it has a split windshield and what appears to be an 1954 grill. Is there a location where you can match engine/chassis/axle numbers to see what it is? We’re assuming it’s a 6400 loadmaster but could be totally wrong

Re: How to identify year of Australian GM truck

Scrolling down though this search I found some split windshield trucks with 54 grills. Scroll down the page a ways. https://www.google.com/search?q=1954...iw=875&bih=415

The red and green one almost matches your description of your friend's truck except condition.

77 C 30 dualie, 454, 4 speed with a 10 foot flatbed and hoist. It does the heavy work and hauls the projects around.
