Thinking of selling my truck

I have been thinking of selling my 71 Cheyenne Super swb. It not a real Super but is a real short bed truck. I made it as close to a Super a possible. I put a big block 454 with a 700r4. I put factory bucket seats in it. It has a tilt, factory tach, vacuum gauge and factory speed warning also has a/c. I put a 4/6 drop on with spindles and springs. It’s not a perfect it does have some scratches and some blemishes in the paint. I have always drove and never trailered it. It has boyed coddington wheels on it now. I was thinking around 24k for it am I out of line for wanting that much for it. Would love some input on this.

Re: Thinking of selling my truck

I don't think 24K is out of line at all. Some may say not a real super, 454 and trans not original, as the tach etc, all upgrades to make it more driveable. The time of year may be against you (cold).
Heck I'd give you 25 for the Camaro and truck right now

Re: Thinking of selling my truck

Worth every penny.
Try to build one for that these days.
Beautiful truck.
$10k buys a project.
Crazy, but true.

You’ll get your price

It’s crazy how the price on trucks have went up. Just about any decent truck these days are at least 15k and up. I’m just wondering if anybody’s going to nitpick it because it’s not a real Cheyenne Super.

I agree 100%. It’s an uncut factory swb truck, and you added nothing but desireable options. People will nitpick anything, but you’ll still get your price at the end of the day imo.

Keith is spot on. When I look at a truck and ask "what would it cost to build it ?"

Your truck would be over $25,000 in time & money no matter how you look at it.

Nice truck !

Makes me wish I had $24K for it right now! Absolutely beautiful truck that anyone would be lucky to own.

Re: Thinking of selling my truck

I totally agree with what these guys have said. Plus your truck is not a common color and I think it looks really nice!

Probably a dumb question, but I'm gonna ask: Any rust? Do you have picture of the bottom side?
