Hey guys I'm new to all of this ( building trucks, online message boards, even the gm model anything) I recently traded a bicycle for for what I believe is a 1961 gmc short bed pick up. The truck used to belong to the owner of the local junk yard. Him and his brother used to go out in the oilfield and fill it full of scrap steal to sell to get beer money back in high school. I want to slam this truck on the ground, leave the paint and Windows the way they are and make it cool again. I am giving my kid the option of having the truck for his first vehicle if he helps build it. So far he seems to like it. Well if anyone has any good insight on my project I'm all ears.
