Lowering springs on rear with s10 frame
Hi all I just installed belltech rear drop springs. They seem waaay soft just pushing on frame. I don’t have bed or anything on truck but the cab. It looks like these are not going to support truck. Any experience on these? I didn’t want to put blocks in. Figured this was a better route..thanks

I used them on my 47. they dont have an overload so they will feel softer. remember that a spring is made to hold the weight and the shock is to provide firmness/damping. I had original shocks on at first and it was mushy and terrible. I upgraded to a set of gas charged monroes and it was perfect.

No. No shocks purchased yet. I am just fitting everything right now. I was just surprised how soft the springs are. I am sure it’s going to need a huge sway bar..

Although my springs are not lowered, they are the super light duty stock ones from a pick & pull so they are very "worn in"... I installed some Monroe MA759 and they seem to work well.

Don't even think about it until you install shocks. I was shocked at how bouncy my car was with lowering springs, then I installed shocks (GOOD ONES) and it firmed right up.
