POST YOUR PICS - Custom Chrome Body Mouldings
I am building a '66 C10, in Canada (US exchange rate to consider) and do not have the budget for new chrome body side mouldings.
Amazon/eBay offers a ton of mouldings for various vehicles as well as in different widths by the roll. It would seem to me that others may have gone this route on custom builds and I would love to see your results. |

Not a fan of the “aftermarket” offerings.
There are two kinds of “factory” body side moulins for our trucks. Mar-k makes the best but they are not cheap. Then there are the Chinese offerings...

Re: POST YOUR PICS - Custom Chrome Body Mouldings
I went through the EXACT same thing you are considering, and actually started a thread on it. Decided it wasn't worth the investment in add on generic moldings, so I bought used moldings. If you are patient, you will find a set. I paid 200 USD, shipped, for mine. I had them shipped to a US border address and went and picked them up.

This is interesting. I have considered body moulding for the future paint project but wonder if aftermarkets are worth it.

Here is a site that has aftermarket trim that some may not have thought of - http://www.flexchrome.com/products/index.htm

You should mention if you have a short or long box.
