I'm using 20x10's w/6" backspacing but I also use a 7/8" adapter because my wheels were ordered to fit cars as well.

For wheels intended just for your truck, 5" back space would prob be the best.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.

ucmydust....All respect to those who responded and all, but if I was ordering a 20 inch wheel (way big bucks) I'd damn sure put my bed on and measure my own truck to make sure.

I'm not baggin on SCOTI, but his truck and yours might be configured a little different.

Absolutely!!!!! Don't take anyones word as the rule. Always measure your own/each application. I use a stock steel ralley (7 or 8") & then measure how much more I could fit before rubbing, do the basic math, & get my #'s.

For my TTII's, I then compared cars to trucks & chose an offset that could work w/both.

I'm running 9.5" wheels with 5.25" back spacing and I wouldn't go any less than that in my opinion.

Chris, feel free to come by and look at my truck and see how my back spacing looks. It'd give you a good idea of what you need.

Can you fit 20x10 wheels on these trucks without widening the wheel tubs in back? I'm also thinking about geting the reverse lip AR TT II's

I just bought a 68 LWB with a fairly narrow 9" in it. Are these backspacing figures you guys are throwin out for a stock width rearend? Just curious, I'll be measuring many times before I order mine, $$$

Thanks,
Tom

ucmydust68,

Thanks. What color is your truck. You should post a pick either with the wheels on or sitting where they'll eventually be.

What about the wheels tubs? Do they need to be wider than stock to fit a 20x10?

I was planning on going with an Early Classis Enterprise 4/6 drop. If that would have any effect.
