what are your guys thoughts on bronze king pin bushings are they worth the money?

Are you talking about a king pin D60 or converting the closed knuckle 44?

Haven't used them my self, but I'm thinking if you keep them in fresh grease there is no reason why they shouldn't be worth it. Don't have to worry about them cracking in half, especially if you have a really large tire you're going to bolt on

fit the knuckle hole much tighter than factory style . lot less flex over stock style . last much longer with little to no wear . work better with big tires .

and there is other brands listed on ebay all the time for much less than reid prices .

Gotcha Kwmech, on a D60 I'd do it if I were into the knuckles. On a closed knuckle I'd keep the tapered bearings, when they're in good condition you almost don't need power steering.

I just put in new bushings and springs. The nylon bushings did not look too bad, which I found odd. But the springs on both sides were sagging. One side of each spring on each side sagged 1/8" and 1/4" strong on the worst side; when compared to the new springs. They looked like a banana shape. I picked up a couple degrees positive camber off new springs and bushings.

I would put the money towards first: selectable locker, upgraded axles, with 35 spline outers, yukon locking hubs. Unless your racing and doing the whole enchilada.

Oh and PICS! We need PICS!

Another two cents.... worth the price paid!
