Single wall top hold downs..... 2 different styles?

When I was putting the top on my Blazer, I had two sets of chrome hold downs, but they were not the same. Does anyone know if maybe there was a difference between CST and plain Blazers? I used the nicer set that was like the ones being sold as reproductions on here, but the second set has a second lip on them, that would probably have made it come closer to the upper rear panel strips. Anyone else have these on their truck?

I believe there are CST and non-CST types. It has to do with the clearance for the panel trim.
