NV4500 swap Muncie SM465

Im considering swapping my current Muncie sm465 for a NV4500 and just looking for general advice. Can i keep the stock clutch? Stock input shaft specs? How much do.i have to shorten driveshaft? Shifter alignment?
Any pther tips and advice much appreciated.

You might want to search here, as well as go to Advance Adapters web site and get their conversion guide. As I recall 93-95 and 96 up are a bit different in the bolt pattern and reverse on the later trans had a synchro as well as a slightly less steep first, etc. 95 was a transition year if I recall so its a bit unique.
Oh, and Dodge used them so there are Dodge versions that I think need the input shaft replaced to work on GM.
