Hello,
My truck came with the v43 painted step bumper option, what color would my bumper originally been? In most of the pictures I see, the step bumpers are painted white.

My 72 had 62,000 miles on it when I got it and had that same bumper. It was painted silver and there was no trace of any other color.

i believe those bumpers were always silver from the factory

Joe is correct. They were all silver. The white ones would have been painted.
