Good article ! He claims they sold 5000 Blazers the first year. I can't remember the build count for 1969 but I thought it was a lot less.

Regardless of his numbers quote, the guy is 101 and possibly has touched/seen/built any of our trucks. Great find. I’d love to shake his hand and give him thanks.

I guess one could say that the production of the 67-72 trucks didn't go off without a hitch (Paul Hitch, that is).
