How can you post in the for sale or wanted parts forum?
I couldn't post in the wanted and for sale parts forum, what's up?

You have to be a paid supporting member to post any classifieds. Keeps the riff raff out that only shows up to try to sell us their stuff and not be participating members of the board.

You need to subscribe and at-least be a Premium Member.
It the best $25 dollars I have spent. If you choose to do this click subscribe in the upper tool bar. You will then be able to buy and sell. |

Crap, don't need to often and in fact I was able to post on a thread there telling someone I would give them for free the part they need.
I will think about subscribing, that kinda sucks. I understand why it's done, but it kinda sucks. Brian

Re: How can you post in the for sale or wanted parts forum?
costs real money to run these forums.
That said, I would give you a free membership on any forum I owned as you are well known to be one of the great info sharers of all time. I've been reading every post you make on chevelles.com for many years. Thank You for all you do for the rest of us. I've even gotten into a little panel butchering myself as a result of leaning from you. |

I have more fun hanging out here with "truck buddies", than going to a bar. And it's cheaper, too. I don't notice the $25 a year from my budget. Agreed, Brian's contribution here is PRICELESS!

Thank you BigglaSS as well for the kind words.
Isn't that the truth on hanging out here, it really is cool when you are in a group of like minded friends. Coming here is like going to a ball park with everyone wearing the home team jersey and hat. We are all one! Brian

Your tutorial on shimming hood hinges is priceless! Worked great on my 57. Wish I knew that 10 years ago. I had a 68 442 that the back of the hood would never close. I was doing it wrong.

Re: How can you post in the for sale or wanted parts forum?
It's funny how that is a pet peeve of mine, how cars will ALWAYS have the back of the hood high like that. I have walked up to guys in shows and told them. Some listen to me, others give me that look like "Oh yeah you put shims under the hood and it will LOWER it, yeah, that makes sense."
LOL Brian

And believe me, I have learned a LOT of stuff like that from you guys!
Yep, it's pretty cool getting back to working on my truck and coming back to this forum to learn stuff and see the cool things you guys are doing. Brian
