Re: Who sells complete body mount kits?

I thought LMC had them (at least for Blazers). Rubber with all metal hardware.

Re: Who sells complete body mount kits?

don't think you will find a manufactor with everything....there may be now, but there was'nt when i did the mounts on my crew.
all you really need anyway are the body mount "cups".
i soaked my body bolts for a couple weeks before i attempted it, and every bolt came out fine, as in the pics, but i upgraded my bolts with new gr 8's anyways.
i used a Prothane poly mount kit.
most of the factory stuff is not needed or used with poly, except the cups and shims. ya, they look bad when you first pull them out...

can see how much the factory rubber has collapsed...

unless there severely rusted, the cups and shims clean up pretty nice, and that's about all you need for them...did mine 6 or 7 yrs ago and they still look like new, and GREASE them before you install them, i used lithium grease and have had zero squeaks...

Re: Who sells complete body mount kits?

and yeah, like sweet k30 says, box bolts to the frame directly, i did lay a strip of epdm rubber on top of the frame rails first, just to keep the squeaks down..

Re: Who sells complete body mount kits?

When you say grease them, you mean grease where the bushing contacts the metal that it mounts in? Or where they meet the frame rails like dieseldawg142 said?
