Re: What wax are you guys using?
Griot's is what I use.
I also polish and then wax. I detail cars on the side. So I Clay Bar, then polish & wax. My Big Red was already pretty nice when I bought it, so for a good before & after pic, I'll use this red Miata. I used it on my Colorado too, it did wonders!!! Of course this was after it was rebuilt The day I got it back, she got a good polish job & detail.

Re: What wax are you guys using?
I only use Adams Polishes products anymore... great products with great results!
Got to meet Adam himself @ SEMA. Super nice guy & very helpful & informative. 19 year old paint... and this doesn't have the final coat of brilliant glaze I put on it last... |

Re: What wax are you guys using?
I also use adams products especially the brilliant glaze! For wax, I use Zaino products. It is harder to apply, but it lasts a long time.

Re: What wax are you guys using?
Funny you should ask. Just yesterday I pulled out like an 8 year old tub of Turtle Wax to put on my oxidized Suburban. It was meant to be a parts truck and has been sitting for a couple of years. I was quite pleased with the old Turtle Wax. And the mild cleaners / abrasives in it actually helped to remove some of the rust streaking. On my vehicles with good paint, I'm a big fan of Griot's. It does cost more than the typical parts store good brands. But I have felt that the outcome is about 25% nicer.

Re: What wax are you guys using?
I just moved to the PNW and got to go to Griot’s HQ in Tacoma this past weekend. Super nice! I believe they have a GM only car show this weekend. I’ll probably go back.

I detail cars, and Griots is what I use. And being a detailer, I use it a lot. And since they sell some of their liquids in gallon refills, this saved me from running for supplies all the time. My local Advanced Auto & Auto Zone, started carrying their products. But because it wasnt selling, they don't now, which is a bummer. People are afraid to try something new when they like what they have.
