4L60e and backup lights

Floor shift, nss is on side of shifter.
Lokar bl1400 will not work due to oe range box.

So what i need to know is how do i use the 4l60e backup signal, i have the later 4 pin and 7 pin connector at trans and I have the 2 green wires from oe column mounted nss switch...Dk green has 12v when key on......

And this is where I'm stumped......

Re: 4L60e and backup lights

When it is jumpered (key on) are the BU lamps on? AFAIK, they should be. The dark green would be the same as the pink on the diagram and the light green from the switch goes to the lt green in your jumpered connector.

Yes BU lights worked prior the swap and still do when jumped......Just cant use the column mounted switch.

So would it be safe to say the power "pink" wire is feeding +12v to switch so the dark green would not be needed?

Just attach light green to light green?

Re: 4L60e and backup lights

Light green to light green (pin F) and dark green to pink (pin C). You most likely don't have that pink hooked up to anything since it's not needed in a stand alone engine rewire.
