Hinge pillar for fender supports

I’ve looked through this great 55-59assy.pdf and found that these go onto the hinge pillars, not the radiator support like I thought. The manual is really detailed, almost too detailed in this case I cannot tell how these connected to the hinge (orientation, which bolt). I’d like to get them attached correctly before I start trying to connect the fender support rod and the front fender.
This is for my 1955 TF, can anybody share a picture of theirs installed?
Thank you.
