1971 GMC 2500 resurrection

Hello All

Late last year I pulled my 1971 GMC C2500 Camper Special out of storage and am in the process of going through it to make it a reliable daily driver. Hail got my small commute car and I did not want to take on the debt of a new car when I knew my girl needed care an attention.

My father purchased the truck new in 1971 in KCMO and I used it in highschool and college. Shortly after - life happened and she sat in storage off and on since 1997.

Now 6 to 8 months later I have put in a new drive- train, minus the Dana 60 and 4.10 gears in the back; New brakes and tires all around and am in the process of updating the electrical for fuel injection in the future.

Well that is a brief synopsis of my current project, one that was about two decades over due.
