Stepside fender to bed panel bolt
I've searched and can't find my answer. I know the head of the bolt is phillips but I've read on here it is a special kind of phillips. Can someone tell me what kind of phillips it is? I'm trying to find longer ones.
Thanks. |

Re: Stepside fender to bed panel bolt
I think what you're referring to is the clutch head. They make both Phillips and clutch, which takes a clutch driver.

Re: Stepside fender to bed panel bolt
There’s a specific Phillips bit that is made for the larger/oversized Phillips bolts, like factory bolts. That’s what I’m looking for.
Thanks |

Re: Stepside fender to bed panel bolt
Phillips head screwdrivers come in five sizes, numbered from 0 to 4.
Phillips head screw sizes are based on numbers as well, ranging from 0 to 24. I use a P4 (or #4) on the Phillips fender screws I have. https://www.sears.com/craftsman-no-4...1&blockType=G1 They also make bits for ratchets in this size.
