Re: what are you using for the cold air intake
I bought stuff from spectre and eBay and built my own....although it's not a true cold air...
I've seen some use the factory air box

Re: what are you using for the cold air intake
I think the ol' Ebay generic kits do the trick for most folks, then get swapped around a bit. Depending on what stuff you have up front (battery, ECM, washer tank, overflow), you'll need to swap the tubes and couplers around, but usually you can get a simple intake that comes out where you want it. I think i just searched "04 silverado intake".

Re: what are you using for the cold air intake
I used the AirAid UBI master kit https://www.airaid.com/master_kits.aspx
I had to get a bit creative in that I had no way to make a direct 90* turn in any direction but up, just no room without hitting the fans, radiator hose or power steering res. This system was simple and pretty nice to use, maybe not the cheapest solution though, but was nice to have all the different angles and lengths to choose from. |

Re: what are you using for the cold air intake
I'm in the same boat on a search for an air intake kit. Just saw this one:
https://www.sikky.com/product/univer...intake-system/ Looks pretty slick and it's priced ok given some of these kits. Anyone ever use one of these? |
