Hi , I am new member. I have all original motor/drive train. Looking for 18 inch- modern rims that will fit or are there wheel adapters made? Help the old timer.

So tell me, why do you want 18" wheels? wheel adapters for what?? Do you have room to run 18" wheels without them rubbing??

like my56 says, we need to know what you are looking for.
-18" fancy wheels with the same offset and width as a stock wheel but a lower profile tire installed to keep the same outside diameter?
-18" wheel with same offset but overall wider to accomodate a fatter tire
-18" wheel that is wider to accomodate a fatter tire and offset more to look like the tires fill the fenders better
the stock wheel bolt pattern is the same as a lot of chevy trucks that use the 6 lugs. there should be lots of them on craigslist or other places like that for cheap. you could test a few out and see what you like. don't forget the different offsets will possibly make the tire hit the fender when turning over a bump, like into a parking lot or speed bump, backing out of the driveway over the curb etc.

dont forget, different offset, different diameter or fatter tire equals harder to steer and more likely to follow cracks in the road etc
