1985 C10, Dash vents not blowing at all
I searched the thread and couldn't find any info!
I have an 85 that blows hot and cold on every selection except for the dash vents. All lines and connections look to be in good shape and leak free. Is there some actuators that may need changed? Part numbers? Thanks

I think this one has what you need: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=460942
On my 75, there are 3 actuators. The one by the passenger kick panel does the AC recirculate. One on the bottom switches between heat and defrost. The hidden one in back is the one that switches between heat/def and AC side vents. Good time to replace the heater core if you don't know how old it is. |

Can't help with part number. I think I read somewhere that all three are the same. IIRC, I used one salvaged from a kick panel as that is easy to get at in the salvage yard. The one on mine that needed replacing was the heat/defrost selector one. When I had mine out, I was fixing multiple things. Broken heat/cold plastic thing, bad heater core and the broken heat/defrost actuator.
