Bench seat center lapbelt length
Trying to buy lapbelts for my bench. I have done a search on the site but have not seen what people are buying. My options are 60, 74, or 90 inches.

Re: Bench seat center lapbelt length
Just pulled mine out, looks like one side measures about 40” and the other 34”. Interesting because I don’t remember a choice of size when I bought them.

Re: Bench seat center lapbelt length
This is good information. I've been looking for the length of the center seat belt as well. Does the 74" seem to be the right size when it was installed?

Re: Bench seat center lapbelt length
Thanks for response. I have read some people having to get belt extensions so the buckle reaches through bench. 90 inch would be safe but probably too much slack unless I only allow large people sit in the middle!

I bought my 3 pt seatbelts from seatbelts plus and they offer the 3 sizes.

Re: Bench seat center lapbelt length
The 74” must be standard length, seems to fit fine. Possibly the longer length would be for a more “robust” customer?? The shorter length isn’t really necessary, since most of the time the belt is pushed down behind the seat with only the buckle and clasp showing.

Re: Bench seat center lapbelt length
Awesome! Thanks for the reply. I ready so many posts where guys asked same question and no one really answered with a seatbelt size.

Re: Bench seat center lapbelt length
Mine is 5 feet pulled out but I get pulled over all the time because they think I am not wearing a seatbelt.

Re: Bench seat center lapbelt length
I have this in my truck:
https://www.summitracing.com/tx/part...8110/overview/ In the center the 'non-adjustable' side is TOO long. The description says it is 34 inches. I'm going to get an upholstery shop to shorten it. |
