Heating question
Good Morning & Happy Thanksgiving to all,
I have a 4 seasons heating/ac system in my 72 c-10. Can someone tell me where the heater/ac lever cable attaches to the duck work. All my air comes out the ac vents. I’ve checked the connections under the dash and all is hooked up and working well at the control. I’m thinking the cable is loose at the heater itself. Need to know where that connection is and can I get to it with out pulling out the heater system. Thanks, Bill

I'm pretty sure the diverter box flapper is the suspect. They break internally. I don't have a pic. It's the plastic part of the ductwork, half concealed by the bottom edge of the dash, behind the L side of the glove box. It has flex hoses coming off the top of it. NOT the one directly above the trans hump, that is the defrost/floor vent diverter.

The black plastic housing attached to the heater core box inside the cab. The first piece that unscrews from the hard mount under glove box.
It has the cable attached to it.
