66 c10 Tire & Wheel Combo with 2.5/4 drop

Need some advice
Working on this truck with 2.5 inch drop spindles and 4inch rear drop springs.
Want to run 20 inch rims
Trying to determine best tire size spec
Any experience out there?
Can not afford trail and error on this project

Thanks
Keith

Almost all tire makers post the specifications of their tires by size (tread width, section width, circumference, diameter, approved rim width, load, speed rating, etc.). Use your measurements to determine the wheel dimensions you want, and then select tire size that will fit your application.

I use this tire calculator to help figure out what tire size I want and it will show me what tires area available in that size. Also gives you some sizes up and down from what you put in, to help compare.

Re: 66 c10 Tire & Wheel Combo with 2.5/4 drop

trying to mimic this look. this truck has a 3.5/5 drop with 275/40/20 in the front and 275/45/20 in the rear.

i understand having the 2.5/4 setup, the truck will sit up in the air 1 inch higher.
thoughts on the tire or wheel adjustments that i need to make.? can i reduce the tire diameter slightly to get the same look?
