04 2500 6.0 Donor?

I have a donor 2004 2500 2wd with a 6.0L & 4l80E tranny going into 47 3100 I would like to pull it from the truck in one piece (motor and Tranny) Can it be done? or is it best to split the motor away from the tranny, currently I have the complete truck what are the parts that are most forget about to grab from the donor, it is drive by wire so I have to get the pedal for sure

should I be labeling the plugs on the wiring harness when I unplug it? im going to be sending it in to get reworked to be stand alone and the ecm flashed or is it fairly simple to install after the harness gets reworked
